                                    THE GUNSMOKE SCRIPTS

Kathleen Hite wrote the scripts for the following episodes of Gunsmoke.

RADIO GUNSMOKE

The Old Lady                    January 24, 1953                ep# 40
Solomon River                 April 17, 1960                      ep# 419
Nettie Sitton                     May 1, 1960                         ep# 421
Homely Girl                      June 19, 1960                     ep# 428
Little Girl                          July 3, 1960                         ep# 430

Nettie Sitton, Little Girl, and Busted-Up Guns are adaptations
of material written by Hite for Fort Laramie--
Nettie Sitton is a version of Hattie Pelfrey,
Busted-Up Guns of Assembly Line,
and Little Girl of an unproduced script.

THE B&W HALF-HOUR ERA OF TV GUNSMOKE

Hite did not write any original stories for the b&w half-hours;
the following are all adaptations of John Meston's original radio scripts.

Kitty's Outlaw                  October 5, 1957                  ep# 82/3-4
Cows and Cribs                December 7, 1957              ep# 91/3-13
Amy's Good Deed            April 12, 1958                     ep# 109/3-31
Innocent Broad                April 26, 1958                    ep# 111/3-33

In the half-hour era, Meston himself adapted two of Hite's radio scripts,
Little Girl and The Imposter.
